Borne in Derbyshire, England, Anne studied general art and painting at Chesterfield College of Art and trained as a graphic designer at the London Central School of Art.  She taught lithography and Life Drawing at Chesterfield College of Art before moving to Surrey, and then on to Staffordshire.

Anne has been painting her Flower Portraits for over 30 years yet she has never lost her excitement at capturing them in paint.

Working mainly in Watercolours she finds their infinite variety a constant joy.  All growing things - vegetables, herbs and weeds found in her cottage garden are treated with the same degree of fine observation that has made her paintings highly sought after.

To keep up with demand, major Print Houses in the UK, USA and Europe have reproduced her work as Limited Edition and Fine Art Prints, making her work available world-wide.

As a dedicated professional painter, Anne says "My painting is everything to me . . . I work all day and sometimes it still does not seem enough.  I eat, sleep and drink pictures!"
